SHOW 2026 Open Call
Launches Thursday 10th September 2026 · Deadline Monday 5 October, 5pm
This year we are looking for three pieces of theatre in development to present as works-in-progress for audiences during SHOW, on 27, 28 and 29 November 2026.
As part of our commitment to supporting artists in Cork to make new work, we are offering:
• A fee of €1,000 per selected artist or company
• Rehearsal and tech time in the CTC studio
• An audience of peers and industry professionals to give feedback on your work
SHOW 2025
In November 2025, we showcased four performances from artists and groups that have participated in one of our BEGIN Residencies throughout the year. SHOW is an informal opportunity for the selected artists to put their work in front of an audience of Theatre professionals and to receive constructive feedback about their work.
SHOW 2025 featured new work from Leslie Conroy, Gavin McEntee, Rosa Mäkelä & Sinéad Gallagher, and ALSA Productions with Joh McCarthy.
Each showcase is 30 minutes, set in two parts, morning and afternoon, with each followed by a Q&A with the artists hosted by CTC Creative Director Zoe Ní Riordáin.
