Process:

Open Call

We are thrilled to announce an open call for artists to be part of our Process programme at Cork Midsummer Festival 2026.

Are you ready to share your work with Cork this summer?

Cork Theatre Collective is seeking 3 exciting projects in development from artists who have never presented at Cork Midsummer Festival before.

Who can apply: Cork-based artists with a minimum of 5 years professional experience who have a bold, new piece of theatre burning to be seen. We want daring, innovative, and passionate work that will come alive in front of a live audience.

What are we looking for: 2 of the 3 selected projects will be site-specific — do you have a venue, site, or public space in Cork that's the perfect home for your work? Tell us about it.

What's in it for you: Beyond a platform at one of Ireland's most celebrated summer festivals, this is a real opportunity to develop a lasting relationship with Cork Midsummer Festival and invite potential partners and collaborators to see your work as it grows. Each selected artist will receive a fee of €500 plus dedicated producing support from Cork Theatre Collective.
